I wouldn’t say this is Tide “with” Oxi, it’s just Oxi, and as I understood it, you’re to use it in addition to your laundry detergent.

That said, I cut myself and got blood all over a brand new sparkling white shirt. I left it for ruined for a few days, then decided to try the Tide Oxi I had. In the sink, with only cold water and this Oxi, it all came out like it had never been there, even after the stain had been left to set for days and without using detergent.

So, IMO, this stuff is absolutely awesome, plus now I’m thinking you don’t really need to use detergent with it.

Sodium percarbonate aka OxiClean, Tide Oxi, etc., is an awesome — and ecogroovy — substance for cleaning. At $7.99 this is even cheaper than SW’s original introductory “sale” price of $8.99 I paid about a month ago. $3.49 a/c for 7+ lbs. is cheaper than can be had from just about any bulk supplier on Amazon. I just wish I could find some in stock at any of my usual SWs before the $4 mq expires! OTOH, maybe this will trigger a laundry detergent price war among P&G, Church & Dwight (makers of Arm & Hammer, OxiClean) and Dial Corp. (makers of Purex). Well, a bigger price war than what we’ve seen thus far. 😉
