Also a NEW(ish) Note regarding doubling internet coupons.Another Update! I talked to the Allen/Murray Store and it was a mistake to deny doubling the internet printable last week, The Front End Manager will make sure all the cashiers know they can. I also talked to the St johns store. I have not talked to that manager in Many years, and he basically acknowledged that they could double the internet printable but that store has been hit with coupon fraud of various sorts in recent weeks/months and other shady things people do with coupons, so he was rightly VERY cautious making any sweeping rule. So if you were to try to double at that store, print the coupon in color one per page, and bring in the full page. That way it will looks the most legit a internet coupon can. Then it will still be a “case per case’ thing. Then lastly the Teal/murray store is still a “no” :-). So Overall MOST stores should be willing to double the internet coupons.

About Allen Safeway — I had no problem doubling internet coupons
recently. But I go early — afternoon or early evening. I always
avoid going at night, and have ALWAYS had coupon problems with certain
night checkers (one in particular). I have had her be unable to scan
even Safeway’s own newspaper coupons or cats. And she always makes up
some ridiculous reason why it won’t scan! It seems sometimes the coupon
scanner is turned off (the manager reaches down and clicks something, then all the coupons scan!). It’s a shame- they are not doing the store
any good. But I won’t go there at night, or to that checker. So I
suspect some of the people with problems were hitting this checker.
Unfortunately, some of that philosophy seems to be spreading to Teal.
But I had no problem earlier in the day at Allen, and no trouble at
Rahleigh Hills!

I bought 2 V8 Fusion today and did NOT receive the cat. The green light was on though nothing printed. Not sure if I wanna call the catalina. If you got the cat, pls let meknow as I planned to stock up on this for my kids.
odd! Worked for me today no issues! And ive heard many reports of it working all over US. Sometimes the catalina can be wonky(rarely, but it does happen). When that happens, I try another checkstand. I have one checkstand at my store that it NEVER works, so i just avoid that line.
The cats usually don’t print after midnight until they close at 1am. FYI, just in case you were or were thinking about shopping at that time.
IMO, the best way to contact caralina about missing rewards is to fill out the form at support.catalinamarketing.com/support/did-not-receive-expected-coupon/ You don’t have to upload your receipt, but the process does generally go faster if you do. I usually get a response within a day and my missing cat in the mail in about a week to 10 days. HTH!
No doubling printed coupons at Sandy Safeway either. Talk to manager and they told me no Safeways should be doubling printed coupons. Weird

The further you get away from “town” u start to get “opinions” rather than rules. Let me check with that store, and also ill check on the st helens one.
The SW store on Sunset Esp do NOT double the IPQ either. I do not shop this store often, but I have gotten 2 female cashiers refused to do it and they even pulled out the double coupon and read the rule for me (I think it did say that they DND the IPQ on the doubler itself). Did you talk to the SM about it at this store? If the Mgr said it’s OK, may be he need to inform his staff about this new rule. Thx.
