sorry to bother you again but i saw this info about sw doubling printables? i run a couponing group and id love to share this info but this is the first I’m hearing of this so if you have a link or some info to verify this i would appreciate it. thanks for your time again 😉
its not a public thing. This is what I have been able to gather, they must have received some new direction sometimes in the last 2 months, to try to make customers as happy as possible, and the question about doubling internet coupons probably came up and they were told they could based on their online policy(i copy/pasted it in the main safeway thread this week in comments). Some stores passed this along, some stores didnt. When I asked the store manager yesterday about it, his face said he knew what i was talking about. my guess this is a portland regional thing. best thing to do is slowly test it, and if you run into a store that does not, let me know, and i can try to get a favorable answer for you.
actually i shouldnt say not a public thing, it is public. its been online for about 18 months. its just that the online policy says we can, and the double coupon itself says we cannot. The OLD Regional marketing director said to follow the coupon, but it was up to the store on whether they want to or not. it seems again recently, that they have been encouraged to lean strongly towards the online policy.

So its this phrase that has been for the last 18 months. previously that part of the phrase was not. What does that mean? As far as anything official, it supposed to mean the same rules apply as to a normal newspaper Manufacturer Coupon.

Some stores do, and some do not. The one right here by my house doesn’t, but the one 30 minutes away does.
