So perhaps you know about how the Walgreen’s Points work, perhaps you read my How-to HERE, and starting today, they have made it even better/easier to use these points.
In the past the minimum you needed to redeem these points was 5000 points, which was the equivalent of $5. But perhaps you are not a Super Walgreen’s Shopper(yet :-)), and even getting to the 5000 mark is a task.
So starting today, and going forward, you can now redeem 1000, 2000 and 3000 points for $1, $2 and $3 respectively!! The thing is, you need to ask for it. The employees have a special screen that is now available to them,
As of today, employees are not supposed to offer this as an option. So you need to ask for it. But now that you know, you can start working the deals using these lower point increments. The New Official redemption rules are here, Balance Rewards full terms and conditions.

nope. you cant get Gift Cards with points at any level.
